Hopeful Hearts

I talked to the babies’ social worker today. She informed me that DYFS has enough evidence to proceed with an adoption proposal in court next week. My heart skipped a beat or two. We have been praying that the Lord would lead in that direction knowing that the best for the children was not necessarily what we had in mind. So much needs to happen, and it is still a long road no matter what turn we take. These three little ones will always have a special place in our hearts. We just hope and pray that they become part of our family forever in our home. Oh, the emotional roller coaster of foster care and adoption! It is a ride like no other.
