The Music of Now
The littlest ones sat secured in their car seats. The conductor took her place behind the wheel. Within a few short moments a symphony of snoring arose above the din of the road. The hearts of the littles beat in a perfect cadence. The rhythm of each day brought a crescendo of busyness requiring measures of rest. The director's stoccatto voice chirping commands subsided to a sweeter allegro. Soon the players will again join the orchestra of family adding their own interpretation of life's music. For now the refrain is pleasant.
