The theme for this week is courage. My first thoughts were quite empty. Courage – why would I be thankful for courage? How has courage played a part in my life this week? Despite my immature response, God worked to prompt my heart. Courage is a huge part of every day and should prompt my heart to thankfulness. Here are a few of my thoughts. I am thankful for God's examples in His Word that show people who were afraid and lacked courage. God didn't set those people aside and render them useless. Rather, He told them not be afraid. He promised that He would be with them and go before them. He promised His faithfulness and proved it over and over again. He listened to their cries of fear and frustration. In the end, his comfort and encouragement allowed these people to keep going and finish the course that God had laid out for them. Anyone who knows me knows that I am not a go getter and can be filled with anxiety at any given moment. I need courage. I am thankful for a God who gives courage. Thank you God for what you have for me today and the courage you will give me to face it.

Beautiful post today on courage. Straight from your heart, I like that! Each and every day God gives us strength and courage - it is up to us to choose it. I want His strong tower to be guiding and leading me. Thanks for sharing your grateful heart today! -Laurie
Such a sweet thankful post.
What a beautiful post. I admire your courage to teach your children at home. You're a great mom!
That was a beautiful post...I think we all need courage in certain areas. I know I need it so often. Thank God He is our helper.
Absolutely beautiful post. Courage is one thing I could use more of in certain areas of my life. Happy Thankful Thursday!
We left a church that my husband had attended his entire life and I had attended about 15 years. It does take courage, but obeying God's leading is so rewarding!
What a great list of thanksgiving!
Happy TT!
Beth
